This is one of the towers I accompany for a longer period and maybe the one I visit the most. After I build it on January first I visit her every day, fixed the top of the tower twice and iced her twice as well. The first time all the ice was gone after one night with too high temperatures. The second time it worked out well ~ I'd love to see the result of a week bellow freezing point and daily showers! Even I dislike the cold, that would have been worth it!
Since I been there at so many different times I have a big stock of images and I am going to share a good part of it here, especially the ice pictures made the collection quite numerous.
On my last night in Basel I light up a fountain (firework) which I found on January first when I build the tower and cleaned up the riverside after new years eve. Some people who left the place quite messy also forgot that big cone, I saw it as a present for my efforts.
As for now I still get images from people I meet during the time I stayed there. I even got one where the Inukshuk is covered in snow and a seagull sits on top of it, love that shot!
